SAFETY INFORMATION

Read these instructions. Keep these instructions. Follow all
instructions. Install in accordance with the manufacturer's
instructions. Use only attachments or accessories specified by
the manufacturer.
Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Servicing is
required when the apparatus has been damaged in any way,
such as liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen into the
apparatus, the apparatus has been exposed to rain or
moisture, does not operate normally, or has been dropped.
Warning: To reduce the risk of fire or electrical shock, do not
expose this product to rain or moisture. The product must not be
exposed to dripping and splashing and no object filled with
liquids should be placed on the product.
Do not use the unit in any location where heat could
accumulate inside the radio.
Changes or modifications not approved by the manufacturer
could void the user's authority to operate this device.
Listening at high levels can damage your hearing.

BATTERY WARNINGS: The radio uses an internal NiMH
battery pack. The radio also uses three external 1.5V AA cells.
There is a risk of fire and burns if batteries are handled
improperly. Do not disassemble, crush, puncture, short
external contacts, or dispose of in fire or water. Do not attempt
to open batteries. Replace the battery only with a new battery
of the same type and construction. Do not charge the internal
battery pack in extremely hot, damp or cold conditions OR
outdoors via the 4.5V DC socket .
AA Batteries: When not in use, remove the batteries.
INTRODUCTION
The RAD-309 AM/FM radio can be used as a self-powered unit,
with external batteries or via an optional AC mains adaptor.
The unit also features a 4.5-VDC output socket for charging
external devices, including some mobile phones.
The packing contains the radio, four charging leads/adaptors
(see P7) and this manual. If there ia any damage return the
radio to your nearest Tesco store for attention. Please have your
receipt ready when you call.
