Phone software update
This function makes it possible to connect to a network, check if there is
new software, download update files if necessary and update software.
You can update the product to the most recent software for optimal
performance and to get the latest enhancements.
•
You are recommended to back up your data before updating software.
•
Make sure to charge your phone before software update. If battery is not
enough, software update may fail.
•
Check out the signal reception. Software update may fail if you are at a
place with bad signal reception.
•
The operations are not available during software update.
•
If software update has failed or stopped, update the software again.
•
If you fail to update software, it may become impossible to operate your
phone. In that case, contact Customer Service Center.
Downloading and Updating Software
You can download the most recent software update on your phone via the
Internet.
Tap > Settings > General tab > About phone > Update center

> Software Update.
When you activate for the first time, Software confirmation screen is
displayed. Checkmark I agree to "Software Update" and tap Agree.
2 Tap Check now for update.
Check if there is new software.
Software update screen is displayed when software update is available.
Select a communication method to download

Select a communication method to download software.
Tap Download.

A new software download starts.

Software update starts.
Your phone will restart a couple of times during the software update
