Short instructions for use
Closing the safe
1. Place an object in the safe and close the safe door.
2. Enter any four-figure number as secret code and confirm this by
pressing the button:
3. The safe then closes. When the safe is fully closed, the word LOCKED
appears in the display and the code number appears for 4 seconds.

Memorise your code number.
Opening the safe
1. Enter your four-figure code number.
2. The door opens immediately. The word OPEN appears in the display.
3. If the wrong code number is entered, the word ERROR appears in the
display. Another four attempts to open the safe are now possible.
Press the button
and enter your code number again. After five unsuccessful attempts, no
further numbers can be entered for a period of 30 minutes. After these 30
minutes, the system is again in normal mode and a further five attempts
to open the safe may be made
Battery change
When the batteries no longer possess sufficient power, the display indica-
tes lowBat and no further entries are possible. The safe can only be ope-
rated correctly when weak batteries are replaced immediately.
1. Using a crosstip screwdriver, open the battery compartment on the
inside of the safe door.
2. Insert four fresh Mignon 1.5 V batteries (art. no. 910.54.980).
Ensure that the batteries are inserted correctly as shown!
3. Re-close the battery compartment and screw it into position.
Emergency opening
Batteries are empty:
1. Connect the emergency power set to the underside of the operation
panel.
2. Enter your four-figure PIN code.
3. The door opens immediately and the word OPEN appears in the
display.
Forgotten the four-figure PIN code:
1. Press the button
2. Enter six-figure project code: The word OPEN appears in the display.
3. The safe is in a reset state again. For closing the safe follow first use
instructions.
If the safe does not open, contact your local dealer or service agent.
