In

mode, the flash output can be controlled
in three steps when shooting.

Select ~ (Flash
Output) from the
FUNC. menu.
• See Selecting Menus
and Settings (p. 64).

Adjust the flash output using ~ or ~.
• You can shoot the image right after selecting
settings by pressing the shutter button. The
menu displays again after the shot, allowing
you to change the settings easily.

Press the FUNC. button.

When the flash output is low, less shadow

shooting a wide scene or area, the image will "

likely be darker due to insufficient light. When

adjusting the flash output, consider all the

• If the LCD monitor is on,
you can check the photo
effect by viewing the
image on the LCD
monitor.
• A shot can be taken immediately by pressing
the shutter button. The menu will reappear
after the shot, allowing you to adjust the
settings easily.
