No sound is output after a disc is
inserted or the disc is immediately
ejected.
Cannot remove the disc even by
pressing the eject button.
Skipping
Sound contains noise.
No sound is output after the power is
turned on.
Cannot insert the disc.
Jumping/skipping of MP3/WMA.
MP3/WMA sound is poor.
MP3/WMA skipping.
Some files or folders cannot be
played.
Load the disc with its label surface face up.
CDs recorded as CD-R/RW or copy-protected
CDs sometimes cannot be used. Check the
CD in use again.
Finalize the disc so that it can be used.
MIX MODE CDs cannot be played, eject them.
8 cm discs cannot be played, eject them.
Consult your retailer.
The disc might be dirty. Wipe the disc with a
dry cloth.
Replace with an unscratched disc.
There might be water drops on the lens inside.
Leave with the power on for about one hour
to let it dry.
Check to see if other discs are not loaded. 

Try recording at a higher sampling frequency

When making files, delete data sections other
than music data. Playing is not possible when
tunes are recorded to a folder having eight or
more layers, or the number of folders exceeds
the maximum of 255 (including roots) and the
number of files exceeds 512 (maximum of 255
files in one folder).
Also, files cannot be played if the first
character in the folder name or file name is a
dot (.).
Incorrect display.
MP3/WMA recorded to CD Extra
cannot be played.
The "Disc read error." screen is
displayed.
List is not displayed.
iPod operations are not possible.
iPod audio is not output.
Cannot play from microSD card.
Cannot insert the microSD card.
Cannot play from USB memory.
Skipping.
Poor sound.
Change the write setting to ISO9660-LV1 or
LV2 and try writing again.
Play a CD to which an MP3/WMA file is
written to the 1st session of the CD Extra.
Load the disc with its label surface face up.
The list sometimes is not displayed since the
number of items displayed in the list is limited.
This is not a malfunction.
Cancel the USB connection, set the iPod to
play, and reconnect it.
Cancel the USB connection, reset the iPod,
and reconnect it.
Perform operations from the iPod, and switch
the settings (audio output) from Bluetooth
(CAR-BT) to the Dock connector. Also,
remove the iPod from the unit and reconnect
it.
Check to see if the microSD card can be used
on the unit.  P.49
Insert the microSD card into the loading slot
with its label surface face up.
Remove the USB memory and insert it again.
Check to see if the USB memory can be used
