Cause/Remedy
Run Cottons 90 °C programme without washing.
Use standard detergent.
– Check basic dosage settings and dosage strength.
– If required, use a different liquid detergent.
Too much detergent/softener in the dispensers. Observe max mark
in the dispensers.

If the i-Dos : content menu setting is changed, all settings are

– Appliance aligned?
Align the appliance.
– Appliance feet fixed?
Secure appliance feet.
– Transportation safety devices removed?
Remove transportation protection devices.
– Power failure?
– Fuse tripped? Switch on/replace fuse.
– If the fault occurs repeatedly, call customer service.
– Not a fault – unbalanced load detection system adjusts
imbalance by repeatedly distributing the washing.
– Not a fault – foam detection system active – several rinse cycles
are switched on.
– Occasionally phosphate-free detergents contain water-insoluble
residue.
– Select Rinsing or brush the laundry after washing.
– Water level too high. Washing cannot be reloaded. Immediately
close washing machine door.
– Select Start/Reload
