Inserting the SIM card You can obtain a SIM card from a mobile phone service provider when you sign on as a subscriber. When you insert a SIM card into your smartphone, you can begin using it to place and receive phone calls.

    Installing the back cover Place the back cover onto the back of your phone and slide it forward until the latch catches the cover. Charging the battery The battery is not fully charged when first unpacked. Before using the battery for the first time, charge it for at least two hours (the battery is 90% charged in two hours).
