If a power adaptor is used please make sure that it is compatible with the camera.

    1.2 Installation Before you start, please verify the package contents are correct by checking the items against the carton content list in the Quick Guide, and make sure all the components are included. Note:  Please make sure that the wall is strong enough to withstand three times the weight of the camera.
  • Page 6 There are two cable outlet methods. One is to route the cables through the cable hole, and the other is to route the cables through the side outlet shown below. Side Outlet Figure 1-4 Note: Three side outlets on the enclosure are selectable, which makes routing the cables easier instead of drilling a cable hole on the ceiling.

    2.2 Installation Notes:  Do not place the camera in extremely hot or damp environment. To avoid heat accumulation, good ventilation is required for a proper operating environment.  Ceiling mounting is recommended for this camera.  The ceiling must be thick enough to withstand more than three times the weight of the camera.

    4.2 Installation Note:  The ceiling mounting is recommended for this camera.  If required, you can use a plier to remove the clip on the side of the back box and then route cables through the opening to secure the cables on the ceiling. Figure 4-2 Remove the Clip Steps: 1.
