Chapter 2 gives an overview of the router's hardware and software features, describes its appearance and the package contents. Chapter 3 explains how to install the router DIR-815 and configure a PC in order to access its web- based interface.

The router's web-based interface displays the notification on unsaved changes at the top of the page.

The button is located on the back panel of the router. To restore the factory default settings, insert a small paperclip into the hole of the button (with the router powered on), push, and hold for 7 seconds.
