Direct Output ( )
This XLR jack is used to connect the amplifier to a mixer or other line level amplifier. The output
for this jack is post EQ, so the EQ setting will be reflected on this output.
CD/Tape Input ( )
This stereo 1/4" jack will allow you to plug in a CD player or other line level source into the
amplifier. This can be used to practice with the music. The left and right signals are combined into
a mono signal. Note: To adjust the volume of the source, adjust the output volume of the device.
Bass Input ( )
This 1/4" jack is used to connect your bass guitar to the amplifier. It is intended for bass, but will
accept other high-impedance instruments as well.

This control is used to match the output level of your bass to the input of this amplifier. If the Clip
LED ( ) lights, turn the control counter clockwise until the LED turns off. Then adjust the Volume
Control ( ) to desired overall volume.
Clip Indicator ( )
This LED indicates if the input is too "hot" for the amplifier. If this lights, turn the Gain Control ( )

Volume Control ( )
This control adjusts the overall volume of the amplifier. The Gain Control ( ) works in conjunction
with this knob.
Notch Frequency Control ( )
This control is a wide band sweep that ranges from 40 to 800 Hz. It is set to -12db and used to
help you fine tune your sound. It is effective for removing unwanted overtones.

counterclockwise will cut that frequency by -12db. Turning them fully clockwise will boost that
frequency by +12db. The center frequencies are labeled above the knobs. Note: The 5K control
essentially works as a horn volume control.
