Symptom
Disc cannot be played back.
Tracks are not played back as you have
intended them to play.
"Now Reading..." does not disappear from
the screen.
While playing a track, sound is sometimes
interrupted.
No sound comes out of the speakers.
The iPod/iPhone does not turn on or does
not work.
Sound is distorted.
A lot of noise is generated.
No operations are available when playing
back a track containing Artwork.
Sound does not synchronize with the video.
• Videos cannot be played.
• No sound of videos come out.
No picture appears on the screen.
Remedy/Cause
• Record the tracks using a compliant application on the
appropriate discs. (☞ page 19)
• Add appropriate extension codes to the file names.
Playback order may differ from the one played back using
other players.
Turn off the power and on again.
The tracks are not properly copied into the USB device or
the SD card. Copy tracks again, and try again.
• Disconnect the iPod, then connect it again.
• Select another source, then reselect "iPod".
• Check the connecting cable and its connection.
• Update the firmware version.
• Charge the battery.
• Check whether the iPod control mode is correctly
selected. (☞ page 30)
• Reset the iPod/iPhone.
Deactivate the equalizer either on this unit or the iPod/
iPhone.
Turn off (uncheck) "VoiceOver" of the iPod. For details, visit
<http://www.apple.com>.
Operate the unit after the Artwork is loaded.
Select [iPod] for <AV Input>. (☞ page 45)
• Connect with USB Audio and Video cable JVC KS-U30.
Other cables cannot be used.
• Select [iPod] for <AV Input>. (☞ page 45)
• Turn on the video component if it is not on.
• Connect the video component correctly.
