    IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS · Before the first connecting of the appliance check that voltage indicated on the rating label corresponds to the mains voltage in your home. · Do not use the color television for any other purposes than those described in this instruction manual.

    PREPARATION CONNECTING TO AN AERIAL OR CABLE TELEVISION NETWORK To view television channels correctly, a signal must be received by the set from one of the following sources: - an outdoor aerial; - a cable television network. 1. Connect the aerial or network input cable to the coaxial socket on the rear of the television.

    REMOTE CONTROL : Turns the TV on or sets the TV to the stand-by mode. : Sets the sleep time. The time counts up with each press as follows: 00:00 0:20 0:40 2:00 1:40 1:20 1:00 After the set amount of time has elapsed, the TV automatically enters the stand-by mode. To cancel the sleep timer press button until 00:00 appears.

    Sub-page key allows you to access any of these pages directly by keying in its own number. Press the Sub-page key and enter four digits for the page you want, e.g. page 2 would be 0002. When the sub-page has been found it will be displayed.
