Point on a Disc

You can locate a particular point on a disc
quickly by monitoring the picture or playing
back slowly.

Depending on the DVDNIDEO CD, you may not be
able to do some of the operations described.
Press 44 or b while playing a disc.
When you find the point you want, press
D to return to normal speed.
Each time you press 44 or m during
scan, the playback speed changes. Three
speeds are available. With each press the
indication changes as follows:
Playback direction

Opposite direction
x24 (DVD only) - FRlw + FR24

You can use this function only for DVDs or
VIDEO CDs. Press 4 or 1~ when the
system is in the pause mode. To return to the
normal speed, press D.
Each time you press 4 or Ib during Slow-
motion play, the playback speed changes.
Two speeds are available. With each press
the indication changes as follows:
Playback direction
SLOW 21b c, SLOW 1Ib
Opposite direction (DVD only)
SLOW 24 t, SLOW l-1
The SLOW 214SLOW 24 playback speed p)
is slower than SLOW lI4SLOW 14.

The x2,/x24 playback speed is about twice
the normal speed. The FF2M/FR244
playback speed is faster than FFl m/
FRlM.
