Getting started
The HP 40gs built-in help is available in HOME only. It
provides syntax help for built-in math functions.
Access the HELPWITH command by pressing
and then the math key for which you require

Note: Remove the left parenthesis from built-in
functions such as sine, cosine, and tangent before
invoking the HELPWITH command.
Note: In the CAS system, pressing the
will show the CAS help menu.
HOME ( ) is the place to do non-symbolic
calculations. (For symbolic calculations, use the computer
algebra system, referred throughout this manual as CAS).
Keyboard keys. The most common operations are

comprehensive list of math

includes categories for all other functions and constants.
