Intended use
This appliance is intended for:
• Toasting slices of bread, rolls and
waffles.
• Use exclusively in domestic environ-
ments.
It is not intended for:
• Use with other foods or other materials.
• Use in commercial or industrial en-
vironments.

Safety Notices
To avoid potentially fatal risks through
electric shock:
• The mains voltage at the mains socket
must match that shown on the rating
plate on the device.
• Never insert cutlery or other metallic
objects into the toaster slots.
• Ensure that the toaster does not come
into contact with water when the
power plug is in the socket. This applies
especially if you use it in the kitchen
and close to the sink.
• If the supply cord is damaged, it must
be replaced by the manufacturer or its
service agent or a similarly qualified
person in order to avoid a hazard.

• After use, always remove the power
plug from the wall socket. This pre-
vents the unintentional switching on
of the appliance.
• Ensure that the power cable never be-
comes wet or moist when the appliance
is in use. Place the power cable such
that it cannot become jammed or
otherwise damaged in any way.
Should the power plug and/or cable
become damaged, arrange for it/them
to be replaced by our Customer Service
Department before re-using the app-
liance.
To avoid fire and injury risks:
• The appliance can become hot when
it is in use. Therefore, only touch the
operating elements.
• Bakery products can burn!
Thus, DO NOT place the appliance
under inflammable objects, especially
curtains and drapes.
• NEVER cover the toaster when it is in
use.
• Never leave the appliance unsuper-
vised when it is in use.
• This appliance is not intended for use
by persons (including children) with
reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities, or lack of experience and
knowledge, unless they have been gi-
ven supervision or instruction concer-
ning use of the appliance by a person
responsible for their safety.
• Children should be supervised to en-
sure that they do not play with the
appliance.
• Operate the appliance only on a stable,
non-slippery and level surface.
• The appliance is not intended to be
operated by means of an external ti-
mer or separate remote-control system.
