ON/OFF switch is at the “ON” position so the PC can detect the device. The AU822 is only able to detect files in the root directory and does not support multi-level directories. Furthermore, you will only be able to store up to 99 music files, recorded files or data files.

AU822 “Voice Recording” Record type In recording mode with recording stopped: - Press the button to enter recording sub-menu, and then press button to select sub-menu ‘Record Type’, and then press the button to enter. - Press button briefly to select appropriate record type, and then press button briefly to confirm the selection.
AU822 A-B Repeat - In Music or voice play mode, and press the button to enter the “play submenu”. - Press to select ‘Repeat mode’, then press the to enter repeat mode. - When “A” in the repeat icon flashes, it was waiting to set the starting point of A-B repeat, press the button to set the starting point A.
AU822 “FM Tuner” - FM recording: Press the button to enter the FM sub menu, choose “fine recording” or “long time recording”, the player then starts to record the currently playing broadcast stream which will be saved into the recording files.

The AU822 only supports the FAT file structure. Please do not format the device as FAT32 or NTFS. The AU822 will only recognize music and recorded files that are stored in the first level directory (branching from root directory). Files stored in any subdirectory beneath the first level directory will NOT be recognized.
