Connect Computer and Data File Transmission Connect the USB cable to your MP4 player, and then connect the other end of USB cable to the USB port on your computer. The screen displays “USB Connected” which indicates the player is in USB mode.
Formatting the Player For Windows users: Connect the MP4 player to the computer via a USB cable. Format the MP4 player (Removable Disk) by using the Windows format tool. You can format the internal storage of the player via your computer with the file systems FAT or FAT32.

Equalizer Mode The Equalizer (EQ) setting is to adjust the music playback effect. There are seven available EQ presets: Normal, Classical, XBass, Jazz, Pop, Rock, and User (custom EQ). 1. Select Equalizer option in Settings menu and touch to enter. 2.
Brightness In the Settings menu, select Brightness option and touch confirm. Touch to adjust the brightness level from 10% to 100 % by 10 % per touch. Touch to confirm and return to the Settings menu. Backlight 1. In the Settings menu, select Backlight option and touch enter.
Sleep This function is to hibernate the MP4 Player after a predetermined length of inactivity. 1. In the Settings menu, select Sleep option and touch to enter. 2. Touch or move your finger up and down the vertical touchpad to select: Off, 10 mins, 30 mins, 1 hour and 2 hours option.
Language 1. Select Language option in the Settings menu, touch to enter. 2. Touch or move your finger up and down the vertical touchpad to select the desired language from 11 languages: English, Thai, Traditional Chinese, Russian, Dutch, German, Polish, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese and French.
Chapter 9. Listen to Music The Music mode is the default mode upon powering on the MP4 player. Try the following steps to play a track. Connect the earphones , then turn on the MP4 player . Touch to start playing the current track. Touch it again to pause.
Audio Play Queue Try the following steps to adjust the current playback queue. Select Audio Play Queue and touch to show the current play queue. Touch or move your finger up and down the vertical touchpad to select a track and hold to pop up a window.
Albums Select Albums and touch to enter the album list. Select an album and touch to enter it. Select a track and touch to play all tracks in this album from the selected track. Genres Select Genres and touch to enter the genre list.
Note: The A-B section must be more than 3 seconds. Lyrics Display The MP4 player supports lyrics files in LRC format. Make sure the lyrics file has the same name as the music file. Save music file and lyrics file in the same folder of the MP4 player. While playing the music, the lyrics will be displayed synchronously on the bottom of the screen.
Chapter 10. Playing a Video File This MP4 player supports video files in AVI and WMV formats. Select Video option in the main menu and touch to enter into the video file list. Touch or move your finger up and down the vertical touchpad to select a file.
Playback of Voice Records Select Voice option in the main menu and touch to enter. Select a record file. Touch to start playing the voice record. Voice Recording Settings Select Record option in the main menu and touch to enter into the submenu.
Note: While listening to FM radio, the MP4 player can perform other operations, such as browsing photos, playing a slide show, adjusting player settings, browsing all files, deleting a file in the MP4 player, or viewing the MP4 player information. The MP4 player stops FM radio when it switches to such operations as recording a voice clip, playing a music or video or voice file.
Manually Tuning In FM Mode, touch to change the radio frequency by 0.1 MHz per touch. Note: If the station is in the preset list, the corresponding preset number, e.g. P2) will display on the screen. FM Recorder FM Radio Recording When listening to an FM radio station, touch pop up the Record screen.

Select All Photo to view the picture files list; Manual to browse pictures manually; Slide Show to display all pictures in a slide show mode and Thumbnail to view all pictures in the finger nail size. Touch to confirm. While viewing pictures, touch to view the previous or next picture.
Chapter 14. Navigation You may browse all files in the MP4 player and delete them from the player. Select Navigation option in the main menu and touch to enter the folder list. Select a folder and touch to enter the folder. Select a file, touch and hold to pop up a window.
Chapter 16. Using the Media Conversion Tool You can use the conversion tool included in the CD to convert MPG, MPG4, ASF, AVI, WMV files to AVI files supported by the player. Insert the CD included in the package into the CD drive. Click the Converter button on the splash screen.

Click Add file icon to add files to be converted. In add file window, select the source file you want to convert and click Open button. The file is now added to the convert window. Set up the destination path of the converted files. In Output Folder Window , type the path of the directory where the converted files are saved.
