With these instructions we offer you assistance in ensuring the Pino remains fun and safe to use over a long period of time. The Pino is the result of many years of development work. But as with any product, it is important that it is continually improved. We are therefore interested in your experiences from normal daily use and from cycling holidays/tours.

Whats special on Magura’s Julie andem version: On your Pino you find the tandem version of Magura’s Julie. It is an extra powerful version with some special features. For servicing or working on the brake, keep some points in mind: Allways use the original Magura steelflex tubes only.

If you aligne the wheel in a work stand, keep in mind that the wheel has to be aligned 2,5mm to the left (discbrake). The Pino is build asymmetric to get the same spoke angle on both sides. This will result in a stronger wheel.

S P E Z I A L R Ä D E R On the next side you will find a technical drawing of the bottom bracket. The Pino has a drive-train on both sides. Taking off the crank requires an ordinary crank puller. Disassembling the bottom bracket: Due to the on the left side mounted freewheel, the bb axle can be removed to the right only.

Steering rod Self locking nut Self locking nut When the Pino leaves our workshop, the steering rod length is pre adjusted. If you have to change or readjust the steering rod length, watch the following steps. Open the self locking nut of either the front or rear joint and remove the screw.
For mounting the Rohloff Speedhub with 14-gears, no separate torque arm will be needed. The Pino is build with an extra long dropout to cope with the torque from the Rohloff Speedhub. This gives you the opportunity for an easy upgrade any time you want.

Packages sent to us must always have the correct postage or we cannot accept them. The weight on the Pino (rider and luggage) must not exceed 225kg. If the Kettwiesel is used in competition, on rough terrain or placed under similar stress, the statutory and additional warranty become void.
