Switching on manually
When a two-circle, three-circle or ExtraSpeed cooking zone is
switched on, the second circle is automatically switched on.
The second circle of a Casserole zone, Casserole Plus zone
and the third circle of a three-circle cooking zone need to be
switched on manually.
This factory default setting can be altered (see
"Programming").
Two neighbouring cooking zones are combined with a
bridging heat element to form the Casserole Plus zone. The
Casserole Plus zone is operated via the cooking zone on the
front right.
The extension of a cooking zone is indicated by an indicator
light as long as the power setting flashes in the cooktop
display. As soon as the power setting lights up constantly, the
indicator light will go out. There is no difference between the
second and the third heater zone of a three circle cooking
zone.
^ Briefly touch the sensor of the required cooking zone.
^ Select the power setting you require.
^ Touch the "n" sensor while the power setting in the display
of the cooking zone is flashing.
