SF-73CA180-150-D.qxd 16/05/2005 11:20 Page 3 SECTION ONE GENERAL INFORMATION This unit utilises passive infrared technology to detect heat radiation of moving human bodies. Upon detection, the lamp will illuminate for a user-determined time period. An integral daylight sensor ensures night-only operation. This unit has a dual light level operation. During darkness the lamp will illuminate constantly at a user defined light level until it detects movement, then the unit will switch to full brightness for a user defined time on period.

SF-73CA180-150-D.qxd 16/05/2005 11:20 Page 7 CONNECTION Connect the cable to the terminal block on the unit as follows (see connection diagram): NEUTRAL (Blue) EARTH (Green/Yellow) LIVE (Brown) Ensure that the connections are secure. Fit the terminal block to the posts on the wall plate Re-fit the floodlight to the wall plate by locating the lugs onto into the recess on the top of the wall bracket, lift the floodlight so it fits over the wall plate (reverse diagram F) Fully tighten the fixing screw (fig E).

Now stand still until the lamp extinguishes (this should take approx. 5 seconds). Start moving again. As you cross each "zone" the lamp will illuminate. Repeat the above, walking at various distances and angles to the unit.
