Traction Control
System (TCS)
The TCS limits wheel spin. The
system turns on automatically every
time the vehicle is on.
To turn off traction control, press
and release the TCS/ESC
button, located on the overhead
console.

appropriate DIC message is
displayed. See Ride Control
System Messages on page 5 50.
Press and release the TCS/ESC
button again to turn on traction
control.

Electronic Stability
Control (ESC)
The Electronic Stability Control
system called StabiliTrak assists
with directional control of the vehicle
in difficult driving conditions. The
system turns on automatically every
time the vehicle is on.
To turn off both traction control
and StabiliTrak, press and hold
the TCS/ESC button located on
the overhead console, until
and
illuminate in the
instrument cluster and the
appropriate DIC message is
displayed. See Ride Control
System Messages on page 5 50.
Press and release the TCS/ESC
button to turn on both systems.
