RADAR OPERATION

■ Course, speed vector and plots

The plot displays the past position of targets as dots. (max. 5 dots)
AIS
Target goes straight.
Course vector
Vector time
Target reduces speed.
Target turns right.
Vector time
The vector indicates the target's predicted, true or rela-
tive course and speed. The plot displays the past posi-
tion of targets at selected interval as dots.
D Displaying the ATA target
qPush [MENU], and then rotate [DIAL] until the
"Presentation" menu becomes highlighted.
wPush [ENTER] to select "ATA Track," and then se-
lect [ON].
ePush [ENTER].
D Setting the update interval
qPush [MENU], and then rotate [DIAL] until the
"Tool" menu becomes highlighted.
wPush [ENTER], and then rotate [DIAL] to select
"ATA & AIS."
ePush [ENTER], and then rotate [DIAL] to select
"Target Track."
rPush [ENTER], and then rotate [DIAL] to select the
target update interval. (Default: 1min.)
• Vector time may change depending on the Vector
Time setting. (see p. 5-32)
• The tip of the vector shows the target's predicted po-
sition after a certain time, which has been selected
in the "Vector Time".
Target increases speed.
