Installing the Franklin PC
View™ Function
To install the Franklin PC View™
function from the installation CD,
follow these steps.
Warning: You must install the
software on your PC before you
connect your device to your
computer, so that your computer can
properly install the drivers necessary
to communicate with your BSI-1900.
1. Insert the installation CD into
the CD-ROM drive on your PC.
The installation screen appears.
If this screen DOES NOT launch
automatically, follow these steps.
• From your PC desktop, double-
click My Computer.
• Double-click the CD drive.
2. Select to install the English or
Spanish version of the Franklin
PC View™ function.
3. Follow the instructions on the
screen to install the program.
4. Once installation is finished,
click the Finish button to close
the installation screen.
You may be prompted to restart
your computer.

Connecting Your Device

Your BSI-1900 has a built-in USB
port and comes with a cable to
connect it to your desktop or laptop
computer.
1. Turn on your device.
2. Connect the wide end of the
included USB cable to a USB
port on your PC and the smaller
end to the USB port on your
device.
This screen is displayed on your
device, indicating that it is
connected to your PC.
