Electrical system

When the living area battery is changed, only use batteries of the same
type.
See Chapter 9 for changing the fuses.
Fault
Interior lighting does not
work
The electrically operated
entrance step cannot be
moved in or out
No 230 V power supply
despite connection
Starter or living area bat-
tery is not charged when
operated in 230 V mode
Living area battery is not
charged during vehicle
operation
12 V indicator lamp does
not light up

Troubleshooting

Cause
Bulb is defective
Fuse on the transformer/
rectifier is defective
Fuse on the transformer/
rectifier is defective
230 V automatic circuit
breaker has triggered
Jumbo flat fuse (40 A) on
the starter or living area
battery is defective
Charger module in the
transformer/rectifier is
defective
Fuse on terminal D+ of
the alternator is defective
Disconnector relay in the
transformer/rectifier is
defective
12 V power supply
switched off
Battery cut-off switch on
the transformer/rectifier is
switched off
Starter or living area bat-
tery is not charged
Disconnector relay in the
transformer/rectifier is
defective
Flat fuse (2 A) in the
living area battery is
defective

Remedy
Unscrew cover of the rel-
evant light, replace bulb.
Note volts and watts
specifications
Replace fuse on the
transformer/rectifier
Replace fuse on the
transformer/rectifier
Switch on 230 V auto-
matic circuit breaker
Replace jumbo flat fuse
(40 A) on the starter or
living area battery
Contact customer service
Replace fuse
Contact customer service
Switch 12 V power
supply on
Set battery cut-off switch
to on
Charge the starter or
living area battery
Contact customer service
Replace flat fuse (2 A) in
the living area battery
