All electrical work must be
carried out by a suitably qualified
and competent person in
accordance with current local and
national safety regulations (BS 7671
in the UK).
– Electrical connection must be carried
out in accordance with DIN VDE
0100.
– Connection should be made via a
suitable isolator, with an on-off switch
which is easily accessible for
servicing and maintenance work
after the machine has been installed.
An electrical safety test must be
carried out after installation and after
any servicing work. It is therefore
essential that the on-off switch is
easily accessible.
– For extra safety it is advisable to
install a residual current device
(RCD) with a trip current of 30 mA (in
accordance with DIN VDE 0664).
– The mains connection cable may
only be replaced by an original Miele
spare part or an appropriate cable
with wire end ferrule.
– Check that the phase rotation is
correct when connecting the
machine. Failure to do so could have
an adverse effect on the circulation
pump and impair the wash quality.
– Equipotential bonding should be
carried out.
– For technical data see data plate or
wiring diagram supplied.

Electrical connection

The machine must only be operated
with the voltage, frequency and fusing
shown on the data plate.
This machine can be converted in
accordance with the conversion
diagram and wiring diagram supplied.
The conversion diagram and data
plate with test certification (VDE, DVGW
etc.) are located on the rear of the
machine, and on the plinth (behind the
service panel).
The wiring diagram is supplied with
the machine.
