get the most out of this advanced scouting tools, please read the manual
thoroughly before operating the camera. If you would like to modify any of
the f actory D efault S ettings, e xcept f or t he T ime & D ate, p lease s ee m anual f or
instructions.
FACTORY D EFAULT S ETTINGS:
Time O ut: 3 0 S ec B urst M ode: 1 S till I mage ( 1.3Mp R esolution)
Operation M ode: P IR V ideo M ode: 1 0 S econds ( 720P R esolution)
Time l apse s etting: 1 8:00-­‐8:00 ( Next d ay)
Initial C amera S et-­‐up:
1. Install 8 " AA" c ell b atteries i n c orrect p olarity ( +/-­‐) a s i ndicated i n b attery
compartment.
2. Insert S D c ard i nto t he c amera.
3. Turn P ower/Preset s witch t o P reset A t o a djust t he T ime a nd D ate.
4. The i nternal L CD s creen d isplays T IME b linking.
5. Press t he [ OK] b utton t o s tart t he T ime s ettings.
6. Press t he [ UP] o r [ DN] b utton t o a djust t he M inute s etting a nd p ress [ OK]
to c onfirm a nd m ove t o t he H our s etting.
7. Repeat t o s et t he H our a nd t hen p ress [ OK] t o c onfirm a nd m ove t o D ate.
8. Adjust t he M onth, D ay, a nd Y ear b y u sing [ UP] or [ DN] b utton. E ach t ime
you f inish a n a djustment y ou M UST p ress t he [ OK] b utton t o c onfirm a nd
move t o t he n ext f ield f or a djustment.
9. Once done, the word -­‐ dEL -­‐ will be blinking, this stands for Delete menu
and w ill a llow y ou t o f ormat y our S D C ard. ( This w ill d elete A LL i mages).
10. Press the [OK] button, press the [UP] or [DN] button till you see the

blinking , t hen p ress [ OK]. T his w ill r eturn y ou t o t he P IR s creen.
11. Press t he [ MENU] b utton t o e xit a nd t o s tart u sing t he P reset A s ettings.
