13.3 Personal Settings

Location Access

Set your location and allow interactive options with your phone applications.
To configure the settings, tap
Access to my location
Allow applications that have asked permission to use your location information.
GPS satellites
Enable GPS satellites to pinpoint your location.
Wi-Fi & mobile network location
Allow location to be determined by Wi-Fi or mobile networks.
Use assisted GPS
Check to use GPS assistance data to speed up GPS positioning.
AGPS settings
Set up AGPS settings.

Security

Set device security options.
To configure the settings, tap
Screen lock
Set the lock screen by sliding the screen or with a pattern, PIN, or password.
• None: The device is not protected.
• Slide: Slide to lock icon to unlock the phone.
• Face Unlock: Use the face detection to unlock the phone.
• Pattern: Trace the correct unlock pattern on the screen to unlock the phone.
• PIN: Enter a PIN number to unlock the phone.
• Password: Enter a password to unlock the phone.
Owner info
Show owner information on the lock screen.
Encrypt phone
Require a numeric PIN or password to decrypt your phone each time you power on
the device.
