The aquapoint is intended for humidifying the therapy air flow which is supplied to the patient. The aquapoint may only be used in combination with point devi- ces prescribed for treating an obstructive sleep apnea syndrome (OSAS) in patients with a weight of 30 kg and higher. -

Operating aquapoint Before being used for the first time, the aquapoint should be tho- rougly rinsed with water. Do this as described on page 16 (section Cleaning). After having turned the unlocking mechanism, disconnect the aquapoint from the respiratory therapy device and take it to a sink. Open the humidifier by turning the closing cap in anti-clock- wise direction and removing it from the water container. Remove the air guide (see illustration). - Page 17 Fill the scale remover or the vinegar solution into the water container and let it stand for a while.
