Power Supply This electronic keyboard can be powered by current from a standard household wall outlet (using the specified AC adaptor) or by batteries. Using The AC Adaptor Make sure that only the AC adaptor specified for this electronic keyboard is used. The adaptor shall MIDI IN MIDI OUT be 12V DC output, and center positive type.
Connections The Headphone Jack If you prefer to play with headphone for high quality personal monitoring, plug a stereo headphone set MIDI IN MIDI OUT SUS TAIN VOLUME A UX.OUT PHONES DC 12 V into the rear panel PHONES jack. Plugging a set of headphones into the PHONES jack shut off the speakers automatically.
Selecting & Playing a Voice Voice number 142 voice at all (see Appendix), including 128 GM voice, 12 Chinese voices, and 2 percussion voices. Voice setting Press [VOICE] button to enter voice mode .The default VOICE R1 is No.001; LCD displays the voice flag and the voice number.
Split/Lower Voice You can split the keyboard to right and left area in this function. Press [LOWER VOICE] button to turn on the lower voice. LCD lights the lower voice flag and displays VOICE L and its number. Press [UP]/[DOWN] button to select other lower voices .
Selecting & Playing a Style Style Number The keyboard has 100 styles at all, from 001 to 100. The default style is 001. Press [STYLE] button to enter to the style mode. LCD lights the style flag and displays the style number. Style Setting Press [UP]/[DOWN] button to select the style you want.
Stop the Style Press [START/STOP] button to stop the style. STOP AFTER ENDING: When the style is playing, press [INTRO/ENDING] button, the style will stop after the ENDING over. SYNC STOP: press [SYNC STOP] button and release the keyboard, the keyboard will stop the style and flash the 4 beats together.
A.B.C Press [A.B.C] button to set the A.B.C mode to on. The A.B.C flag is lightened on LCD. In this mode, the keys below the split point are known as the CHORD area. There are 2 ways to detect the chord: single finger detect and fingers detect.
Tune The LCD displays the current tune value. Use [UP]/[DOWN] button to change the tune value. This function can change the right area of keyboard from 50 to 50 cents. Press [UP] and [DOWN] simultaneously will set the tune value to the default one. The default value is 000.
Recording Record Waiting Press [RECORD] button. Four beats on LCD flash simultaneity, which indicates the record waiting status. Voice, style, memory and recording tracks can be selected in this status. The ACCOMP track and MELODY track can be recorded together and also can be recorded separately.
Record Play Select the tracks to play, and the LED of the track will be lightened, which indicate that the track is ready to play, and the darkened LED indicates that the track is not ready to play. If the LED cannot be lightened, that means it is an empty track.
Demo There are 5 Demos at all (see Appendix) DEMO Start/Stop Press [DEMO] button to enter to DEMO mode. The DEMO flag lightens on LCD. Hold the [DEMO] button over 3 seconds, it will play the current demo repeatedly with the current demo's number shown on LCD.
