This manual describes the hardware features of Quidway S3528 Series Ethernet
Switches and their installation, configuration and maintenance. You must read this
manual carefully in case of equipment impairment and bodily injury caused by any
maloperations.
There are seven chapters and an appendix in the manual.
Chapter 1 Product Overview profiles the Quidway S3528 Series Switches.
Chapter 2 Installation Preparation elaborates the requirements in safety,
installation location, etc.
Chapter 3 Installation tells how to install the equipment and modules and how to
connect power cable, grounding wire, and Console cable.
Chapter 4 Powering on the Switch for the First Time presents the equipment
booting procedure, including switch power-on and system initialization.
