1. Press Home

2. From the Maps main screen, touch Maps on the top left of the screen, and then touch Join
Latitude.
3. If you see Sharing currently disabled, touch it and select the Enable location sharing check
box.
4. If you see You have not enabled Location reporting on this device, touch it and select the
Report from this device check box.
After you join Latitude, you can start sharing your locations with your friends. Only friends that you
have explicitly invited or accepted can see your location.
To open Latitude after joining:
1. Press Home

2. From the Maps main screen, touch Maps on the top left of the screen, and then touch Latitude.
3. Select the following options.
Touch MAP VIEW to see your friend on Google Maps.

to invite your friend to Latitude.

Touch
to check in with Latitude.

Touch
to refresh your friends list.

Press Menu
l
friends who do not use Latitude regularly.

Invite Friends
To share your location with friends and request to see their locations:
1. In Latitude, touch
2. Choose how to add friends:
Select from Contacts: Select any number of friends from contacts.

Add via email address: Enter an email address and touch Add friends.

3. Confirm your friend is checked and touch Yes.
