Using the flash

In dark environments, use the flash to shoot the subject brightly and to
prevent camera shake. When shooting against the sun, use the flash to
lighten the image of the backlit subject.

• In [Intelligent Auto], [Superior Auto],
or [Scene Selection] mode, the built-in
flash does not pop up even if you press
