Steaming has the advantage of healthy cooking, due to the low heat used, only choose tender, lean cuts
of meat and trim off all fat.
Serve steamed poultry with herbs, flavoured sauces or marinade the meat for a few hours before steam-
ing for flavour.
Thoroughly cook all foods before serving. Pierce with a knife or skewer to check that the center is cooked
and juices run clear.
