N6223 DVR QUICK START
Your N6223 Networked Video Recorder is designed for extended
recording and playback of multiple Networked AV video streams.
The N6223 is capable of recording four N1000 streams, eight
N2000 streams, or 100 N3000 streams but cannot mix and match
between N-series - i.e. it can record multiple streams of one
N-series at a time. Connection to the video network is through the
four gigabit Ethernet ports on the back of the N6223.
For extended recording of a single stream, only one network
connection is required. For recording and playback of multiple
synchronized streams, all four gigabit Ethernet ports need to be
connected to four independent ports on a layer-3 switch with
IGMP-query enabled. Please contact SVSi to acquire or configure
a network switch optimized for Networked AV.
