Tips for Placing the Access Point

Before proceeding to configure your WL556E, it is often a good idea to
identify the areas where you have good wireless reception and weak or no
wireless signal at all. Using these indicators, you may place the WL576E in a
location where you have poor wireless coverage. This can be done by
checking your router's wireless signal strength on the wireless devices that you
commonly use. This will serve as the preferred location of the WL576E.The
illustration below is an example of a network diagram.
In choosing the location, it is also important for the location to have (1) a
power outlet or a power strip nearby, and (2) an RJ45 wall outlet where you
would be connecting the WL576E through an Ethernet cable.
