to fix the electrode in place.

Unit not plugged in.

Blown fuse or circuit breaker.

Weld time too long.

Pull the Trigger all the way back and
touch the prongs to the workpiece.
12.
Release the trigger slowly until it
connects the workpiece, then pull the
trigger back about 1/16". The arc will
be ignited. The weld should take two
to three seconds to complete.
13.
Pull the trigger all the way back to
break the arc.
14.
Allow the Spot Welder to cool down
after ten welds.
15.
When finished welding; lift the elec-
trode from the workpiece, discharge
the electrode to ground and turn the
Welder off. Disconnect the Spot
Welder from its power source.
16.
Place the Spot Welder down on a
nonflammable, nonconductive sur­
face to cool.
17.
To prevent accidents, disconnect the
Spot Welder from the ARC welder
after use. Clean, then store the tool
indoors out of children's reach.

Plug Power Cord into electrical outlet.
2.
Replace fuse or reset circuit breaker.

Clean or replace Electrode.

Press harder against workpiece/.
3.
Clean area with copper cleaner and
fine wet-dry sandpaper.

Clean metals with fine wet-dry
sandpaper.
2.
Clean, resurface, or replace Electrode.
3.
Tighten nuts.
4.
Check line voltage with voltmeter.

Shorten weld time.

Clean, resurface, or replace Electrode.
