Using a Phillips screwdriver, remove and set aside the six screws securing the front panel to the rackmount enclosure, being careful to prevent the front panel from falling off (Figure 1).

Support Note: The Mac Pro is equipped with three Thunderbolt 2 busses, each with two ports (Figure 11). The xMac Pro Server’s PCIe card expansion module connects to one of the ports with the included Thunderbolt cable. Sonnet recommends that, whenever possible, you connect the PCIe card expansion module to its own bus, leaving the other Thunderbolt port on the bus unoccupied.
