    III: Pre-Operation Inspection 1. ENGINE OIL Use 4-stroke engine oil, API service classification SE class or equivalent. Check the API service label on the oil container to be sure it includes the letters SE class or equivalent. SAE 10W-30 is recommended for general use. Other viscosities shown in the chart may be used SAE Viscosity Grades when the average temperature in your area is within the indicated range.

    VIII: Maintenance The engine must be properly maintained to ensure safe operation, economy and trouble-free, as well as eco-friendly. In order to keep your gasoline engine in good working condition, it must be periodically serviced. The following maintenance schedule and routine inspection procedures must be carefully followed.     Remove the carburetor drain plug and completely drain the gasoline out of the carburetor to an approved container and replace the drain plug.
