Remove the wing fairing and carefully cut away and remove the covering material on the wing from within the
outline you drew.
Glue the wing fairing into place using 5 minute epoxy. Quickly remove any excess epoxy using a paper towel and
rubbing alcohol, and use pieces of masking tape to hold the wing fairing securely in place.
WARNING
Be very careful not to get any epoxy between the wing fairing and the fuselage side.
Repeat the previous procedures to install the second wing fairing on the other half of the wing.

SECTION 25: CANOPY INSTALLATION

(1) Molded Clear Canopy
Pacer Formula 560 Canopy Glue
# 1 Phillips Head Screwdriver
Promax Canopy Scissors
Electric Drill
1/16" & 5/64" Drill Bits
Step 1: Trimming the Canopy
Using a pair of scissors, carefully cut out the canopy along the molded scribe line.
Sand the edges of the canopy smooth and straight using 220 grit sandpaper with a sanding block, being careful not to
scratch the sides of the canopy.
For a more scale appearance, carefully mask off and paint the canopy frame Olive Drab and Aluminum to match the
covering material.

Set the canopy onto the fuselage. To align the canopy
properly, it should be centered over the fuselage (when viewed
from the front), and the rear-most molded vertical canopy
frame should be even with the back of the cockpit.
When satisfied with the alignment, hold the canopy in
place using pieces of masking tape.
