Vitoladens – ordering fuel oil

Fuel oil quality

The Vitoladens 300-W and Vitola-
dens 333-F are approved for opera-
tion with low sulphur fuel oil to
DIN 51603-EL-1 (max. sulphur con-
tent 50 ppm).

Fuel oil additives

Fuel oil additives are materials that
can be used providing they offer the
following characteristics:
&
Improvement of the storage stability
of the fuel.
&
Improvement of the thermal stability
of the fuel.
&
Reduction of odour development
during filling.

Combustion improvers

Combustion improvers are additives
for optimising fuel oil combustion.
Viessmann oil burners do not require
combustion improvers, as these bur-
ners operate with clean and efficient
combustion.

Biofuels

Bio fuels are made from vegetable oil,
e.g. sunflower or rape seed oil.
If in doubt refer to your local heating contractor.

Vitoladens - Ordering fuel oil

A condensate neutralising system is
not required (according to Code of
Practice ATV-DVWK-A 251 [Ger-
many]) when using this low sulphur
fuel.
