Resetting the Advanced Sound Settings
This feature resets the Advanced Sound Settings
to the factory settings.
NOTE:
If no sound settings have been changed, Reset is not
available.

From the Advanced Sound Settings menu,
press  or  to select Reset, and then press
OK.

A confi rmation message will appear. Press  or
 to select Yes, and then press OK.
Using the Audio Distortion Control
Prevents audio distortion.

the Audio Distortion Control.

Using the Dynamic Range Control
This feature allows control of compression for Dolby
Digital.

From the SOUND menu, press  or  to select
the Dynamic Range Control.

Using the Audio Level Off set
Sometimes there can be large changes in volume
when switching from an ATV channel or an external
input. Using this feature reduces these volume
diff erences.

the Audio Level Off set.

Using the Spectrum Analyser
Shows sound in a visual format.

the Spectrum Analyser, and then press OK.
NOTE:
The Spectrum Analyser display turns off when any
other procedure is performed.

the PREFERENCES menu.

• Auto: This mode automatically outputs in
Dolby Digital format (for Dolby Digital
audio signals) or PCM format (for PCM
audio signals) from an HDMI or USB
device to the digital audio output
socket.
• PCM: Select this when a 2ch digital stereo
amplifi er is connected to the TV. When
you select a Dolby Digital or MPEG
audio track, the sound is converted to
the PCM (2ch) format and output.
