Overview
Congratulations on your purchase of the MR4 mini DVR!
The MR4 comes with a mini DVR and a PB1850P extended battery which can last up to 24
hours during typical use. By plugging in the 5V DC adapter, MR4 can achieve infinite
circular recording for surveillance use. If using 32GB memory card, MR4 can record arround
96 hours video.*
*Actual life and performance may vary depending upon usage and settings; battery not replaceable.

Charging
The MR4 mini DVR comes with an internal rechargeable battery. To use the mini DVR for the
first time or not using the mini DVR for a long time, remember to fully charge the battery
and resync the time by using the configuration tool (see section "Time synchronization and
custom settings configuration"). You can charge your mini DVR through the USB port of your
computer or the DC adapter.
To charge the battery through USB port, connect the USB cable to the USB port of the
computer and the mini DVR. For details, please see the status below. The mini DVR will
function as a mass storage device, you will not be able to record video at this moment.
To charge the battery through DC adaptor, connect the DC adaptor to the mini DVR. For
details, please see the MR4 mini DVR status below. Moreover, you will also be able to
record video while charging.
To charge the PB1850P extended battery, connect the extended battery charging cable to the
computer. For charging details, please see the PB1850P extended battery status.
WARNING: Do not charge the PB1850P extended battery while the MR4 mini DVR is
connected! Please charge them seperately.
Recording
The power button is located at the right side of the mini DVR. It can turn the mini DVR on or
off.
Start Recording
Press and hold the Power button for approximately 2 seconds until the green LED is on, and
then release the button. When you see the green LED flashing, the mini DVR is recording.
Otherwise, please see the status below.
Stop Recording
Press and hold the Power button for approximately 2 seconds until the green LED is off.
WARNING: Turn off MR4 mini DVR before removing card!
