Press [, ] to select the tab and press [].
Press [, ] to select the menu and press [ENTER].
Press [, ] to select the option and press [ENTER].
Summary of settings
The settings remain intact even if you switch the unit to standby.

Select how long the unit remains on when it is not being used.
Remote Control Code (➡ 11)
Multi-jog Setting
Select "Off" to turn the wheel operation off.
Easy Setting
You can execute basic settings (On-screen Language, TV
Aspect, Speaker setting).
Restore Default Settings
This returns all values in the Setup menu and the On-screen
menu, except for "DVD-Video Ratings" and "Age limit for BD-
Video viewing" to the default settings.

DVD-Video Ratings
Set a ratings level to
limit DVD-Video play.
Age limit for BD-
Video viewing
Set an age limit of
BD-Video play.
Play DVD-Audio in Video Mode
Select "Video Mode (Video On)" to play DVD-Video content
on some DVD-Audio.
Mixed Disc–Audio & Pictures
When playing a CD-R/RW recorded with both MP3 and
JPEG files, you can select which types of files you would
like to give priority to.

instructions. Enter a 4-digit
password with the numbered
buttons when the password
screen is shown. It will be the
common password for both
"DVD-Video Ratings" and "Age
limit for BD-Video viewing".

Choose the language for audio,
subtitle and disc menus.[BD-V] [DVD-V]
pSome discs start in a certain
language despite any changes you
make here.
pWhen the selected language is not
available on the disc, the default
language is played. There are discs
where you can only switch the
language from the menu screen (➡
15).
pEnter a code (➡ 28) with the
numbered buttons when you select
"Other ____".
