Setting the Time and Date

Adjusting the time and day of the month is helpful when investigating any event involving
the control unit and exactly tracing the incidents.

checked. An alert is given if the detector is out of
its calibration limits or if it is close to the pre-
alarm margin. Choose a time of the day when
the environment is usually in normal conditions.
By default, the control unit proposes 00:00
hours.
LED Flashing: All the elements of the loop send
information or are consulted by the control unit
regularly. Every time information is sent, the
corresponding LED flashes. You can activate or
deactivate the LED light; it is recommendable to
leave it on [YES].
Historic mode: The control unit keeps a list of
the events detected. From here, you can choose
two kinds of storage:
Normal: the default option, which registers all the
incidences shown on screen.
Debug: the control unit stores any event,
including individual communication errors not
shown on the control unit screen. This option is
advisable to locate sporadic events.
Network Address: This value should be
changed only when there are several control
units connected together. In the case of a
network of control units, you must give each one
a different value.
Remote Reset: This option lets you configure
the SND2 sirens output as a remote RESET
input. If the terminals of the SND2 is short-
circuited whit this option configured, the system
RESETS This option must be restricted to
access level 2.
2-[Messages] Once configured and functioning
normally, the control unit displays a message
that can be customised from this menu. It is also
possible to customise the message that appears
in the case of fault. As a fault message, the
control unit automatically displays the name of
the maintenance company and its telephone
number. You may type in up to 20 characters.
3-[Modem] activate the type of MODEM to be
used:
- GSM
- Normal
- Telephone
(See section 4.2.5 Connection to modem)
If the modem is not used, do not change the
default parameters
From [Configure], select option 3 <Time/Date>
