Installation Installing Your Modem The following procedure describes how to install your SM92xxD modem. You perform these procedures using the connectors and jacks on the back of your SM9256D modem (see Fig. 2 on page 17). Turn off your computer. -
Page 13: Installing The Driver
If your computer contains the Microsoft Windows XP or Windows7 operating system, use the following procedure to install the modem driver. Windows detects your SM9256D modem automatically. In your computer’s CD-ROM drive, insert the supplied driver CD. Click Install the software automatically [Recommended] if it’s not selected and click Next. -
