Select Text on a Web Page

You can highlight text on a Web page and copy it, search for it, or share it.
1. Touch
> > Chrome
2. Touch and hold to the area of the page containing the desired text.
3. Drag and to the left or right to select the desired text. Any selected text will appear
highlighted.
4. Select an option:
Select all
l
Copy : Copy the selected text.
l
Share : Share the selected text via Gmail, Drive, Hangouts, Messaging, etc.
l
Web search
l

Adjust Browser Settings

You can control many of the settings for your browser through the browser settings menu, including
general page settings, privacy and security, accessibility settings, advanced settings such as
Javascript and plug-ins, and bandwidth management.

2. From any open Web page, touch

Search engine: Selects a search engine.

Privacy: Allows you to quickly display Web pages you frequently access or to predict

the page if there is an access error.
Web and Data

: Select all text on the current Web page.
