Using the Touchscreen

You can select an item or enter text by tapping the touchscreen with your

finger.

Tap properly on the icon to select it.

To protect your touchscreen, tap gently.

•

When the screen is locked, press the lock key to unlock the touch-

screen.

•

When the screen is locked, press the send key, the OK key or the end

key to activate the screen. To unlock the screen, press and hold the

icon according to the instructions on the screen.

If your phone does not respond to your touch requests correctly, calibrate

the screen as follows.

Select Settings> Touch settings> Calibrate to access the screen for

calibration.

To calibrate the screen, tap the centre of the calibration frame on the

screen according to the instructions.

During the calibration, tap the center of the calibration frame prop-

erly to ensure that the phone responds correctly to your tapping and text

entry after the calibration.
