When using the Access 211N Gate way and the attache d tele phone set, basic safety

pre cautions should always be followe d to re duce the risk of fire , ele ctric shock and

injury to pe rsons, including the following:

Do not use this e quipment ne ar wate r, for example, ne ar a bath tub, wash bowl,

kitchen sink or laundry tub, in a wet basement or near a swimming pool.

Avoid using the e quipment during an ele ctrical storm. The re may be a remote risk

of ele ctric shock from lightning.

Do not use the attache d tele phone to re port a gas leak in the vicinity of the le ak.

Do not cove r the unit or block ventilation inle ts.

The Access 211N Gate way must be powe re d by an exte rnal UL liste d limite d powe r

source or Class II powe r source (AC/DC adapte r), rate d input: 100 -240 V, 47-63Hz ,

0.5A, output: 5VDC @ 2A.

The phone ports (PH1 and PH2) are intende d for indoor connections only and must not

be conne cte d to the Public Tele communication Ne twork.

Page 2 To install your Access 211N VoIP Gateway with a single PC: Unpack the Access 211N Gateway unit. Place the Gateway on a desktop or other level surface, or mount it on a wall. Choose a location that is near the devices to be connected and close to an electrical outlet.
