  • Page 9 HOW THE PRODUCT WORKS Overview This product uses ‘phase’ current transformer sensing technology to detect and monitor a magnetic field around your household electricity power cable. It measures the amps being used and, by reference to the system voltage, calculates the amount of power being used, the cost, and the amount of greenhouse gas emissions.

    GETTING STARTED You will need As you unpack and begin to set up your new electrisave ™ you will need the following equipment: • User manual – for instructions on how to set up and use the product. • A hammer and 2x 2mm head nails – to fix the mounting bracket/unit to the wall. Alternatively you may screw the bracket to the wall or simply place the transmitter carefully inside the meterbox.
