Removing Your Child From the
Child Restraint

Loosen harness by pushing
down on the harness
release lever while pulling
out on the harness.
Depending on your model,
the harness release lever
may be under a flap on the
pad in the front of
restraint.
Press red button on buckle
to release the buckle
plates.
Press on release button
and pull apart. Remove
child.

Reclining the Child Restraint

This child restraint has 2

positions: Upright and
Semi-reclined.
Forward-Facing -
Reclined or upright.
Belt-Positioning
Booster - Must be fully-
upright.
For upright position, rotate

recline stand down and
out, then push up to lock.
For semi-reclined position,
pull out on recline stand to
unlock, and rotate up into
the back of the child
restraint.

Backrest Pad (on select models)

The backrest pad provides
extra comfort for your
toddler.
To remove backrest:
Unthread the harness from
splitter plate (see
"Preparing Child Restraint
to Fit Your Child" section),
remove backrest, and
rethread harness. Reverse
to replace back rest. Make
sure harness does not
twist.
